Calasparra Town Hall has been demanding more staff for the Emergency Department in Calasparra for several years as, if medical staff are called out to an emergency, the Emergency Department is left without any medical staff.
Luckily, this situation was resolved happily but the parents complain that the lack of staff in the Emergency Department could have put their daughter ‘s life at risk.
«They are playing with lives here in Calasparra» says the mother, «it makes you wonder if we ought to move to an area where the Emergency Department operates effectively».
