Before the end of the year the Local Police of Calasparra will have a new 56,000 euro 4×4 Off Road Pickup vehicle.
The regional Government has allocated 2.5 million euros to 45 municipal areas for these new vehicles and Calasparra is one.
The principal objective of these vehicles is to reinforce security in rural areas and improve emergency response.
These types of vehicles facilitate a rapider response during adverse weather conditions, with better mobility on country paths/roads, and permit officers to offer a more efficient and immediate response.
