Central
Government has set aside 400 million euros in the a central fund to provide loans
for small and medium sized businesses to invest, to expand or to improve industrial
competiveness .
This week the Head of the local Department of Promotion and Industry, Antonio
José Merino, and the Head of the Department of Tourism, Teresa García, took
part in a meeting with local mayors and representatives of businesses in the región,
to explore the “REINDUS” programme.
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Tourism and PYMES
(small and medium sized businesses), Raúl Blanco, explained how the fund
worked.
The 400 million euro fund will provide long term loans to businesses, which
want to expand into new premises, move or change location, and improve or
modify production lines and/or implement new technologies.
Our local representatives underlined the importance of central and regional
governments in the economic development of Calasparra, to improve infrastructures
and provide help to boost the local area.
