MINUTEŚ SILENCE FOR TRAIN CRASH VICTIMS

Calasparra Town Hall will join a national Minute of Silence at 12 midday today, Monday January 18, in memory of the victims of the terrible accident yesterday involving two high speed trains that has cost the life of at least 39 people.
All residents are invited to participate in the demonstration of solidarity, respect and sympathy for the victims.
The demonstration will be at the doors of the Town Hall in the Plaza de la Corredera.
Two high speed trains collided yesterday at Adamuz, Cordoba, one of which was derailed. The two trains were Malaga Madrid and Madrid Huelva.
This morning at least 39 deaths and 152 injured are reported, a toll that may increase as rescue efforts continue. There are 48 victims in hospital, 12 of which are in intensive care.
