The Mayor
of Calasparra headed the delegation of local councilors and businesses to
promote the tourist industry in Calasaparra at the International Tourist Fayre
(FITUR) held in Madrid last week.
Emblematic local landmarks, such as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope and the
Puerta Cave; activities such as hiking or walking and the descent of the river
Segura; and local gastronomy, including
the famous Calasparra rice and local cheeses, all formed part of the
presentation.
Calasparra featured on the North West Murcia Stand with neighbouring towns of
Cehegin and Bullas.
