This week, local author, Fulgencio Caballero, (known locally as Pencho) may win a national literary prize for his new novel “Simún”.
Pencho has made the short list of finalists in the National Competition for Cultural Novels in Valencia and will find out this week if he wins first prize.
His novel is published by “Ole Libros” who distribute the book nationally.
Pencho has already won another literary prize for his latest book, this time in Madrid, in the gift of Editorial Leibros.
The Ateneo Mercantil of Valencia and the Editorial, Olé Libros, organise the “Ist Premio de novela Ateneo de Valencia”, with a prize of 4,000 euros.
