There will be live music every Friday for six weeks at the Gardea Café as part of the Summer Bands Festival.
The Festival begins tonight at 9pm. and there will prizes for the winners.
The winning band will record their own CD at Recording Studios in the region and the three winning bands will play at the local Sanctuary Music Festival later this summer.
