A 6 -0 defeat away to league leaders, Costa Calida, on Sunday has left Calasparra FC hovering dangerously above the drop zone in 15th place but with just two games left to play this season they are unlikely to swop places with third from the bottom Puente Tocinos who they will meet at home next week.
Costa Calida clearly enjoyed the match at their home ground and have clocked a massive 80 points so far this season putting them seven points clear of their nearest rivals, Mar Menor with 73.
Hopefully Calasparra FC will claw back some points next week at the Caverina before their last game of the season against fourth place Ciudad Cieza away which may well result in another resounding defeat.
Calasparra FC currently has 39 points and Puente Tocinos, top of the three drop zone clubs, has 29 points.
