Corvera airport has officially opened, operations have
been transferred from San Javier and the first flight to land on the runway was
from East Midlands.
During the winter the airport will service 12 European destinations: services
which will be expanded for the summer.
The first domestic flight, to Asturias, will take off in the summer and flights
to Madrid and Barcelona are at the planning stage.
