FINANCIAL HELP FOR NEW SMALL BUSINESSES AND SELF EMPLOYED

Calasparra Town Hall has introduced small grants for new small businesses and self-employed people with a business base in the local area.
Any self-employed person or professional registered as such between January 1, 2022, and March 14, 2023, with a business centred in Calasparra can apply for financial help of up to 1,000 euros.
Applications for the grants must be made in the next 10 working days.
These small grants aim to promote economic activity in the local area and facilitate self-employment.
According to the Town Hall, this initiative has been introduced to support the activities of entrepreneurs in Calasparra, in the light of the current economic situation: It underlines their importance in the regeneration of local production and employment, by facilitating the “start-up costs” in a climate where  self-employed people face great difficulty securing finance.
The grants may be used for start-up costs such as consultancy, notary and registry costs, administration, self-employment contributions and other costs involved in the creation of a new business, which must be justified by invoices, bank payments etc.
The grants may also be used to pay rent or to install services such as electricity, gas and telephone, and other costs involved in starting up a new business such as advertising and paying suppliers. As above, these costs must be justified by the appropriate paperwork.
All of the information concerning these grants is available at the Electronic Seat of the Town Hall https://sede.calasparra.regiondemurcia.es/…/tablonEdict…

or in person at Calasparra Town Hall.
