There will be an extra fiesta day in 2012 in the autonomous communities such as the region of Murcia when there will be celebrations on January 6 to mark the Day of the Autonomous Communities.
The other national holidays are April 6 (Good Friday); May 1 (Workers Day); August 15 (Asuncion of the Virgin); October 12 (National Day of Spain); December 6 (Day of the Spanish Constitution); December 8 (Immaculate Conception); and December 25 (Christmas Day).
Next year as New Year falls on a Sunday January 2 will be a fiesta day.
April 5 is also a fiesta day and in the region of Murcia March 19 (San José) is a holiday.
