Calasparra closed 2025 in style by staging the traditional annual San Silvestre Charity Fun Run.
On Wednesday, December 31 numerous participants took part in the 5k race that consisted of various laps around the town centre.
The San Silvestre in Calasparra raises funds for the UNICEF «Gotas para Niger,» that aims to provide drinking water and sanitation to schools and communitites in one of the poorest countries in the world, Nigeria.
Before the adult race a Childrens’ Trial was held to promote sport and solidarity amongst the youngest residents.
