CALASPARRA LOSE AWAY BUT REMAIN STEADY IN MID TABLE – SAFE FROM THE DROP ZONE

Although Calasparra FC, perhaps unsurprisingly, lost away to fifth place Mar Menor last Sunday they are steady at 12th place in the league table with 29 points more than the bottom two clubs.
While Mar Menor remains just nine points from league leaders, Costa Calida, the story at the bottom of the table is quite different. The three drop zone clubs are Lorca Deportiva and Beniel, with just eight points and Puente Tocinos with 24 points.
This Sunday the home team face 11th place Molino at the Caverina, however, winning any points may be difficult as Molino drew 0 – 0 with mighty second place Cartagena B last Sunday.
Result: Mar Menor 1 – 0 Calasparra
Future fixture: Sunday March 27 at the Caverina.
