The next few days are likely to be cloudy, cold and windy with a 70% chance of rain on Friday, which is predicted to be the worst weather day of the week.
Temperatures have dropped by between 8 and 10 degrees compared to last week and the wind from the snowy North brings an added chill factor that has got us all shivering.
Forecasters predict today, Thursday, will be cloudy with a possibility of light rain and on Friday temperatures will drop to 12 degrees maximum and rain is highly likely. By Saturday temperatures will recover a little, up to 14 maximum, but showers are forecast.
The best day of the week may be Sunday as we anticipate a sunny day with temperatures at a very pleasant 17 degrees. However, light showers may spoil the party!
Unsettled weather is expected in the early part of the next week although temperatures will keep rising and night time temperatures should be well above zero.
