The local football team, GH Seguridad Calasparra FC, are playing the most important game of the season on Sunday and, if they win, will be League Champions and gain promotion to the Preferente League.
The team have had a magnificent season after being promoted last year. Now the club are appealing for massive support from the people of Calasparra to help carry them through to the title.
The game starts at 4pm in the Caverina and their rivals will be Ceuti. If they win they are League Champions and will be promoted. If they draw or lose they will have another chance to secure the title and promotion in the play-offs.
The Club is offering «arroz» for everyone at 1.30pm (which must be booked with the Club in advance) and then at 4pm the big game.
The game is Calasparra – Ceuti at the Caverina at 4pm on Sunday March 5.
