The two
rice Cooperatives of Calasparra have donated a total of 3,500 portions of rice to
vulnerable people Calasparra and surrounds and to the emergency field hospital for
Covid-19 patients.
The DO Calasparra, counts on the collaboration of Cooperative Virgen de la
Esperanza and the «Flor de Calasparra», to help alleviate the grave health
crisis through the donation.
Some 150 kilos of rice is destined to vulnerable people in Calasparra, Hellin
and Moratalla; 100 kilos will go to the Jesus Abandonado Foundation in Murcia
and 100 kilos to the IFEMA in Madrid.
