The main fiesta will be held from October 24 to 26 although there will be events before and after these dates (see full programme translated below).
Calasparra, once again, becomes the epicentre of gastronomic culture in South East Spain with days dedicated to the DOP Calasparra Rice, within the Gastropaisajes Programme.
One of the main attractions of the fiesta is the direct involvement of local bars and restaurants offering tapas elaborated with Calasparra rice.
This event also counts on the participation of local groups and associations such as the Cultural and Folkloric Association Rondalla of Calasparra; the Association Band of Music of Calasparra and the Rociero Choir of Calasparra, providing the music; and the Twinning Committee and the Association of Friends of the Musuem organising meetings and cultural activities.
This initiative is organized by Calasparra Town Hall in collaboration with the DOP Rice of Calasparra and counts on the sponsorship of the Estrella de Levante Foundation and the regional departments of Agriculture and Tourism.
