The “ecologico” managed to dig up a few new potatoes before the mud made it mission impossible and they will be on sale this week on the only organic vegetable stall on Friday’s market in Calasparra, outside the gates of Cine Rosales.
We have also cooked some beetroot so it is on sale ready to eat for customers that prefer it that way. Supplies will be limited this week but you can order cooked beetroot for next week´s market day.
Despite the rain we will be out tomorrow morning as soon as it is light to gather in the vegetables for the market. This week we will have carrots, turnips, green and red peppers, aubergines, spring garlic, Swiss hard, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuces, delicious peppery radishes, small and large varieties and fresh herbs to order (basil, thyme, bay leaves).
The stall will open at 10am as usual with the freshest vegetables on the market. Our prices are lower than most organic vegetable suppliers because the produce comes straight from our garden to your table with no intermediaries.
Stop by on Friday and we will sure you will be delighted not only with the taste of the vegetables but by the rock bottom prices. Quality was never so cheap!
