Every August here in Spain from 17 to 24 shooting stars rain across the skies in the early hours of the morning.
The Perseides, known as the «Lagrimas de San Lorenzo» ( the Tears of St Lawrence) can be seen by the naked eye.
The best times to see dozens of them every hour are August 12 and 13 although the season lasts a week.
The advice is to lie flat on a sunbed, for example, look North and wait for the display from midnight onwards.
