What a spread!!!
Thanks to the creativity and generosity of those attending the recent Dogs Rescue Coffee morning in the Asador el Valle on the Valle de Sol urbanisation an incredible 500 euros was raised and a further 160 euros through donations of change and coins!
Congratulations to everyone for their enormous efforts to support this so well deserved cause.
Dogs Rescue take in abandoned and ill treated dogs and puppies in Calasparra. This summer they were completely overwhelmed by litters of puppies abandoned by their heartless owners on the doorstep of the refuge or left to their luck in the countryside.
The Association is totally dependent on donations for medical care and food for their many, many charges as some residents of Calasparra refuse to take responsibility for their dogs and get them spayed, abandoning them so they become someone else’s problem.
