Although spring will give way to summer at the weekend according to forecasts with temperatures in the mid 30´s and minimums around 16 and 17 degrees centigrade don´t pack away your duvets yet!
Tomorrow, Friday, the daytime temperatures will rise to 29 degrees and it will be a lovely warm evening with minimums of 16 degrees. However, on Saturday the thermometers are likely to hit a massive 36 degrees and with evening temperatures in the 20´s it will be a perfect time for a gentle walk into town to enjoy a drink and a tapa at one of the many bar terraces which are springing up like mushrooms all over town.
On Sunday some cloud is predicted although temperatures are likely to remain in the 30´s: perfect weather to enjoy the Book Week events in the Plaza de la Corredera or the Municipal Organized Walk along the river Segura at Cenajo on Sunday.
April showers are forecast for Monday and temperatures during next week are likely to drop by 10 degrees: back to spring!
Watch out for the fierce Calasparra sun over the weekend and please remember to take precautions: sun cream or block, a wide brimmed hat, sunglasses and drink plenty of water. It is also advisable to wait until the cooler evening temperatures before walking into town or taking a stroll.
