A five year old child fell from one of the barriers during today´s bull run and was transferred to the Caravaca Hospital after losing consciousness.
The child, who was accompanied by his family, fell from the one and a half metre security barrier at the beginning of Calle Ezequiuel Ordonez just as the starters´gun sounded.
He suffered bruising on his head and lost consciousness. After being treated in the clinic in the bull ring he was transferred to hospital.
THE FIFTH BULL RUN
Runners and bulls jammed together to block the entrance of the bull ring, after a run which lasted a mere two minutes and forty seconds.
Luckily there were no serious injuries but several runners were treated for bruises.
There were more runners than usual today and both bulls and runners completed the course in a cluster which caused the blockage at the gate of the bull ring.
