Although, the fiestas centre around bull runs and bull fighting there is much, much more to see, hear and enjoy during fiesta week in Calasparra.

The Editor has added a warning this year for those contemplating participating in bull runs or in the bull ring. There have been several deaths amongst both spectators and runners at various fiestas in Spain this year including the death of a young mother in neighbouring Moratalla. Please respect the barriers and stay safe!!
