MURCIA RECORDS THE HIGHEST SPRING TEMPERATURES IN SPAIN

On May 22 the temperatures in the region of Murcia soared to 34.5 degrees, the highest temperaturee on this date in the whole of Spain.
However, spring this year, which officially came to a close on Monday, has been the coldest of the last three years with an an average of 15.1.
The period from March to May temperatures were normal, according to the Met Office, although there have been four “hot periods” in April, May and June.
As we wave farewell to spring, summer has arrived with a vengeance as  thermometers are expected to record temperatures well above 40 degrees this week.
