There is now a permanent memorial in the gardens of the Casa de la Cultura to the Calasparrians who were prisoners of were in the nazi concentration camp of Mauthausen.
On Saturday there was a special ceremony to inaugurate the monument.
There is currently an investigation underway to try and contact the families: as yet only three of the seven have been found.
