The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, will meet with the Presdient of the Regional Governmentof Murcia, Pedro Sanchez, and other heads of regional departments to discuss employment and education.
He is also likely to raise the issues of the Autovia del Norte, the future of Calasparra railway station, and the Conservez Fernandez (La Diosa) canning plant.
During the last few days the Mayor has held a meeting with the Director of the Institute of Promotion, Javier Celdrán, to discuss Calasparra becoming a member of UNAI, an organisation which speeds up investment, and he also raised the possibility of re-opening the Conservas Fernandez canning plant.
