11:30 am – A day of activities in the Plaza de la Corredera (or the Auditorium if it rains) to celebrate equality and mark International Womens’ Day. Participating groups are:Talía Theatre Group; the Reading Club; and the Youth section of the local Red Cross.
12:30pm -Presentation of prizes for schools poster competition.
1.00pm – Homage to the Women of Calasparra. Recognition of the Asociación de Discapacitados la Esperanza (Disabled Persons Association) in the Salón de Actos at the Town Hall.
6.00pm – Activities at the OAPs Club to mark International Womens’ Day.
