This Thursday there is an opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the Ramona salt beds and buildings as the Director General of Culture sends in an application for the site to be given a National Heritage listing.
Fifteen seater buses will leave from the Plaza Emilio Pérez Piñero to the site for the guided tour which starts at 9am on Thursday November 12.
After the visit there will be a Conference in the Casa de la Cultura starting at 10.45am.
The application will be for the máximum protection and recognition of this emblematic site as part of the National Heritage.
During the Conference, which ends at 1.30pm, the impòrtance and relevance of the site will be analysed by experts. There will also be discussion about the restoration of the site and the implications of posible protected status.
Any resident may take part in these activities.
