The delegate responsable for the Protection Civil in Calasparra, Jordi Ace, has organised a rehearsal of a dramatic potholing rescue in the Puerta Cave.
On Sunday, November 8 the emergency aquatic, orientation,mountain and potholing rescue groups will take part in the simulation exercise as part of a training programme.
The aim is to rescue a person who has suffered an accident in the potholing section of the Puerta Cave and bring him/her out safely.
The groups will meet at the cave at 8am and the exercise will finish at 7pm.
