A three hectare area, alongside the main road from Calasparra to Caravaca, was destroyed by a forest fire earlier this week.
The fire, on an area called the Cabeza de Doctor, started at 1.30pm Tuesday and was declared fully extinguished the following day.
Although the emergency services put the fire out within an hour they remained at the site for a further 8 hours, dampening down, before declaring the fire was fully extinguished..
