The environmental protection group, ANSE, has organised a day for banding birds here in Calasparra on October 3 in the Olivarejo area from 9am.
This activity is part of the LIFE Riverlink project, organised by the Segura Water Board with ANSE and Murcia University, aimed at protecting the River Segura and its banks, which includes restoring the dams and facilitating the Barbas migrating upstream.
The project also includes regenerating the woods on the banks of the river.
Participants wil also get to know the natural area and the animals and flora of the area.
