The local youth clubs, “peñas”, will draw lots to light the starter´s rocket traditionally set off from the balcony of the Town Hall to mark the official beginning of the September Fiestas.
The “Chupinazo” will be set off on Wednesday September 2, tomorrow, at 12 midday.
There is likely to be a crowd in the Plaza de la Corredera so arrive early to get a good view.
There will be a prize draw for anyone who has bought a special bracelet of the fiestas. The prizes are bull fighting memorabilia such as a cape signed by the famous matador, José Tomas.
