Today, Monday, we might well catch the tail end of storms and torrential rain which form part of a weather system which is currently passing over our part of the peninsula.
Yesterday there was serious storm damage reported in the centre of Spain, including Madrid.
And, it seems, summer may be over as predictions are for a fall in temperatures of at least 10 degrees this week and the next.
Although from today until Thursday, it is likely to stay hot, that is 37 to 38 degrees, and the nights will be warm, by the end of the week all should change. By Saturday the barometers are expected to register 28 degrees and from next Tuesday there may be frequent rain storms.
The second week of September is likely to be “fresh,” according to the Met Office, with temperatures below 30 degrees, although by September 14 they should settle back into the seasonal norm of around 32 degrees.
