Calasparra could be a town without a football team if volunteers can not be found to form a new Board of Directors, according to local sources.
The Club has issued a desperate plea for volunteers to attend a meeting on July 8 at 9pm in the Casa de la Cultura or face losing a local team in the league, Preferente Autonómica.
The Club are appealing for support and unity, particularly from those who will be directly affected by the disappearance of the Club, such as players, trainers, monitors, fans and sponsors.
