RESIDENTS TO DECORATE BALCONIES FOR CORPUS CHRISTI

The parish of Calasparra is calling on residents of the town hang flags and shawls from balconies and decorate the streets with flowers and plants to commemorate Corpus Christi on Sunday.
Corpus Christi is the day christians celebrate the presence of Jesus in the eurcharist.
There will be a service celebrating the eucharist in St Peter´s Church at 8am.
After the service there will be a procession with a statue of Jesus and, especially for this year, the statue Our Lady of Hope from the Sanctuary.
The procession starts and finishes at St Peter´s Church. The itinerary is St Peter´s Church, the Plaza de la Constitución, Calle Mayor, Calle Lavador, Avenida Teniente Flomesta, Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez, Calle Corredera, Calle Salzillo and then Calle Mayor and back to the church.
