To mark the European Day of the Nature Netowrk pupils from the Los Molinos Primary School helped experts to ring birds and mark turtles in the local area.
The activities were organised by ANSE ( the Naturalist Assocation of the South East) as part of the Red Nature 2000 project.
Pupils also practised handicrafts using canes.
The day finished with a chat about the local wildlife and flora which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of caring for our natural environment.
