Classic routes, such as the pilgrimage to the top of San Miguel, and new routes with specialist guides will form part of the new season of municipal walking programme which ends on November 29.
Maria Dolores Gomariz, Head of Tourism and the Head of the Sports Department, Antonio Martínez, joined local expert on, Francisco Moreno, known as Frasquito, to officially present the new programme, Calasparra, Step by Step, at the Tourist Offices in Calasparra last week.
Frasquito issued a special invitation to young people to take part in the walks and get to know their patrimony.
The Head of the Tourist Office encouraged everyone to take part saying: “There are walks of long and short distances where participants can enjoy nature and unique landscapes. The ideal would be that everyone takes part and enjoy a different experience.”
