The Department of Promotion, Public Works and Ordenance, via the Director General of Roads, has started work to improve the RM-B20, which connects Cehegín with nearby Canara,by eliminating dangerous bends and improving the camber.
The Head of Department, Manuel Campos, said the improvements aimed towere “provide the maximum safety for drivers” on a stretch of road used by more than 1,000 vehicles daily, including five per cent of heavy vehicles.
The work should be completed within three months.
