While yesterday´s storms produced a little drizzle and lots of noise here in Calasparra houses, basements and garajes were flooded and roads were cut off in nearby Caravaca.
Some 20 litres of rain fell per square metre in a matter of 10 minutes: 40 litres per square metre in less than an hour. There were also hailstorms.
In Cehegin the rain was more moderate with 15 litres per square are metre in an hour.
The yellow weather warning for heavy rain and storms remains in place for today, Tuesday, from 11am to 8pm.
