A Calasparrian man, aged 49 years old, was killed yesterday morning when his Citroen Xara crashed head on with a Nissan Terrano at the 38 kilometre point of the RM – 314 Venta el Oliva/Calasparra road.
Two people were injured in the accident, which happened at about 11.20am yesterday morning, and were taken to the Hospital Lorenzo Guirao in Cieza.
This stretch of road is a regional accident black spot which was due to be widened and improved in 2010 with the motorway Jumilla -Venta del Olivo-Caravaca-Lorca.
