The Guardia Civil have arrested five people, including two Calasparrians,for allegedly stealing 50.000 metres of rubber tubing used for irrigation from farms in Hellín, Albacate worth 9,000 euros.
According to the Government Delegate the arrested men are F.B.P. and R.M.S. of 53 and 44 years from Calasparra, and three men from Hellín.
The tubing was sold to recycling copanies who were unaware it was stolen, according to police sources.
The arrested men have appeared before magistrates in Calasparra and Hellín.
