Check your mail or your PO Box for your voting papers for the EU Elections which will be between May 22 and 25.
The main politcal parties are concerned at a posible 30% level of abstention in these elections due to a level of euro sceptism, the lack of difference between the main political parties and the belief that the elections “don´t serve any useful purpose.”
However, voters have the choice of at least three candidates: Partido Popular, Socialist Party (PSOE); and the IU (United Left and Greens) who will be able to influence important EU legislation affecting issues that affect our every day live including pending changes in agriculture.
