It has been the driest seven month period. between October and April, in the history of the Murcia region since 1941 according to the State Met Office.
Predictions are that it will rain very little in April which will be “extremely dry.” During the first 15 days of this month some 8.5 litres fell per square metre contributing to a deficit of 100 litres per square metre over the past 12 months.
