There were 21 more registered unemployed people in Calasparra during December bringing the total to 1,277 compared to 1,256 the previous month.
Agriculture registered the most job losses at 729.
The increase may be due in part to the end of the North West Murcia Employment workshops which provided 100 jobs in Calasparra.
