A Calasparrian teenager has become the national under 17 billiards champiion at a mere 15 years old.
Mario Mercader, who now plays for the Club Billar Casino of Cartagena, was proclaimed national champìon after a close fought final, 30 – 29, against Daniel Peña.
He is the fifth Murcian to hold the title.
Next Saturday at 4pm Mario will come home to play his former team mates in the league when Cartagea meet Calasparra Billard Club.
