Summer holidays bring summer prices at the petrol stations as motorist will pay 0.07% more for petrol and 0.05% more for diesel.
After four consecutive decreases in price during June, according to the EU Petrol Bulletin, the price of petrol has increased by 5.7% over last year and diesel by 3.7% over the same period.
A litre of petrol now costs an average of 1.425 euros and diesel costs 1.333 euros a litre.
