Local school children will mark World Environment Day on June 12 by taking part in reforestation work in the municipal area.
Activities in the area will include the pupils from the IES High School and the Pedereras Primary School working in the Peace Park and pupils from the Esperanza Primary School, Los Molinos and the Sacred Heart working in the Open Theatre in the Castle area.
All the plants and tools are ready and staff from the Civil Protection, Red Cross and Municipal Services will provide support.
