The University Popular, adult education centre in Calle Mayor, is celebrating the end of term with a visit to Blanca and an evening of exhibitions and activities by students at the Sala del Comendador.
Everyone is invited to participate in the visit to Blanca on Saturday May 25 to see the Pedro Cano Foundation with a guided tour by the artist himself, a meal at a local restaurant and an afternoon seeing the sights of Blanca.
The price includes food and transport: 25€ for students and 30€ for general public. Sign on at the office on the first floor of the Town Hall. Leave from the Fuente del Secano at 10.30am.
On Friday May 31 at 8pm in the Sala del Comendador students of the Univeristy Popular will exhibit their talents for all to enjoy.
There will be a presentation of a blogspot created by students in the workshop: En Femenino; the official opening of an exhibition of craft, drawings and paintings; a presentation by various levels of the English workshop; an exhibition by the Ballroom Dancing School; and the presentation of diplomas.
At the end of the evening there will be a dinner at the OAPs Club. The price of the meal is 11€ and places can be booked at the UP before Friday May 31.
