UK residents are organising a picnic and nature quiz at the popular local beauty spot, Fuente Caputa in Mula in May.
The picnic will be on Wednesday May 8 from around 2pm. Particpants are asked to bring their own picnic, cool box, drinks, rug, chairs, tables and sun shades. Cameras and insect repellent are recommended.
There is a small lagoon, a large lagoon and spectacular walks alongside the stream and plenty of parking. Pets are welcome.
The organisers will send out instructions and there will be signs at various junctions along the way. Just to give you an idea where it is: go straight to the end of the Mula Road turn left towards Cieza. On this road there is an “S” bend and just after this take the right turn by the 19Km post (nearly hidden). Carry on this road – Camino A Cortijo de Perea and you will see a narrow bridge off to the right – go over this and that’s the picnic area.
