According to reports in the national newspapers electricity prices may fall dramatically in April.
Sources explain that the basic price of electricity for the second three monthly period is around 46.41 euros per megawatt an hour, some six percent less than the reference used to set the price of electricity in January and 15% less than the previous three months.
This will be the first decrease in electricity prices which have risen by 60% over the last 10 years.
